Tendrils of intangible now

The event permeates from the back of the catacombs like a clatter of bones, alive only in its tips that touch your ears, or as distant star that in the concept of now no longer exists, redshifting into oblivion.
The work is about the moment of relay where information is in transit, yet to have consequence. A sequence is set in motion, where the cause and effect sit in different moments in time. The attitude of instant gratification that comes with the speed of modern communication technology, fails to alert us to the more distant ripples of our actions. Equally the mole cricket, when making its mating call, may have instead alerted a predator to its location. The ingenuity of its burrow instead amplifies its downfall, as it sits obliviously at the end of its self-made tomb.
